Pregnancy is obviously a time for great joy and excitement but it is also the most physically and emotionally demanding time in a woman's life. Pregnancy care at Oeuf is concerned with helping you stay relaxed, healthy and physically comfortable during the whole nine months. Towards the end of your pregnancy we can help you prepare for the birth with advise on perineal massage, appropriate essential oils, acupressure and reflexology points to facilitate labour.

The Holistic Approach to Pregnancy

Since conventional drugs are unadvisable during pregnancy, natural medicine is an obvious and safe alternative. Many of the common complications and tiresome symptoms in pregnancy such as morning sickness, indigestion, constipation, headaches, can be reduced or resolved with the help of the therapies listed.

Research has found that the more stressed a mother is during pregnancy the more prone that child will be to anxiety in their life. To certain extent raised levels of progesterone keep you feeling calmer, but it beneficial to incorporate some form of relaxation like complementary therapies into your pregnancy plan.

Your initial consultation is taken with one of our pregnancy care specialits, who will help to identify your expectations or any concerns you may have about your pregnancy. Together you will decide on an initial treatment plan. which can then be adapted to address the different physical discomforts and emotional concerns faced by the mother in each trimester.
